I write for Advertising Age, a magazine and website about media and marketing. My interests range from social media and how digital media is screwing everything up for the old guys and the future of marketing. In a part life I worked for a newspaper in Alabama. Nope, not from there. I’m from N.J., the Philly part. Three experiences stick about my ‘Bama stay: 1. I got to go inside an incinerator desgined to destroy chemical weapons; 2. I wrote a story the Daily Show based a skit on, and 3. I developed a longstanding fondness for barbecue. But there’s no great bbq in Brooklyn, where I live.
